| This is the only Pediatric Neurosurgery department in the country. Head and spine trauma, brain cysts, tumors, abscesses, congenital CNS malformations (spinal and craniocerebral hernia), occlusion hydrocephalus are treated here. The department collaborates with St. Peterbourg’s Scientific-Research Institute of Neurosurgery named after Polenov by changing experience and visiting professorship programs, as well as by organizing state-of-the-art operations in situ in very complicated cases. |
